We are proud to introduce our highly qualified staff of licensed professionals.


Hunter Hendrickson is a pediatric physical therapist and Clinic Director for Esperanza.  Hunter studied at College Misericordia in Dallas, PA and graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 1999. Hunter comes to Esperanza with 9 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy.  He has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, rehabilitation, home health, outpatient and school based therapy.  Hunter uses his youthful spirit to engage children in therapy.  Hunter declares FUN as the most powerful therapeutic intervention a clinician can employ and is sure to use it during each therapy session.  Hunter enjoys incorporating his experiences as a soccer coach, Yoga instructor and a father into his practice.  

 
Hunter is also a lover of the outdoors and extreme sports.  When he is not at the clinic or with his family he is sure to be found paddling off a waterfall or skiing down the steeps of a local mountain.

Amy Meyers-Stein is the Lead Occupational Therapist and Clinic Director at Esperanza.   Amy received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from College Misericordia in May of 1998.  Since then she has been working with children that have suffered traumatic brain injury, tumor resection, stroke and developmental disabilities.  Amy has experience working in home-care, outpatient and school based programs.   She comes to Esperanza with 10 years of experience in pediatrics and extensive continuing education.  Promoting and gaining independence at home and in the community is Amy’s goal for all children.  Using a combination of play, functional activities, yoga and therapeutic activities Amy works closely with both children and their families to meet their goals. 
 

 When not working with children at the clinic Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the beach, walking or hiking in WA parks, camping and traveling to tropical places.

Tiffaney Hillman is a pediatric physical therapist at Esperanza.  She received a Bachelors of Arts in Geography from the University of Washington, and then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in May of 2007.   During her graduate school education she had clinical affiliations in outpatient pediatrics, neurological rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, and transitional care settings.  While working in pediatrics she treated children with neurological as well as orthopedic conditions.  Tiffaney discovered her passion for working with kids and decided to specialize in pediatric physical therapy. 

 

Tiffaney was trained and certified in Intensive Physical Therapy using the Therasuit Method by Izabela Koscielny, co-designer and co-owner of Therasuit.   Tiffaney is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as, the Washington Physical Therapy Association. 

 

Tiffaney is an avid Husky fan and enjoys running, camping, boating, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
